The capsule manufacturing process, step by step
Here is how a capsule product moves through Vitalpax, from the first call to the shipped order.
- Brief and formulation. We talk through your product idea, your customer and your dose. Then we work out the formula with our formulation team.
- Ingredient sourcing. We source what your formula calls for from the 7,000+ unique ingredients we work with each year.
- Manufacturing. Your capsules are produced under cGMP processes on our multi-building manufacturing campus in Southern Utah.
- Laboratory testing. The product is tested on laboratory equipment that includes High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR).
- Packaging and shipping. We bottle, label and pack your capsules, then ship them within the U.S. or abroad.

What is cGMP manufacturing, and how is quality checked?
cGMP stands for current Good Manufacturing Practices. These practices set out how supplements are made, recorded and checked, so they meet the required quality standards for nutraceutical products.
